Thigh Lift Honolulu

In 2007, an estimated 18,500 thigh lift Honolulu procedures were conducted in the United States according to American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).

Thigh lift Honolulu, also called as thighplasty is a surgical procedure to remove loose and excessive, or hanging skin surrounding a patient’s thigh and buttocks. The skin is firmed up and the thigh’s’ appearance is improved as a result. Thigh lift Honolulu is a way to eliminate dimpled appearance of the thigh that is brought about by cellulites. The irregular dimpling of the skin is usually visible on the thighs, hips, waists of both women and men are because of the loss of elasticity of the skin and the bulging of fat pockets.

One of the benefits of undergoing thigh lift Honolulu surgery is that it relieves rashes on the surface of thighs caused by moisture. It is usually done in cases where massive amounts of weight have been lost. Thigh lift Honolulu surgery results to an obvious evidence of smooth, firm, and shapely thighs. Thigh lift Honolulu promises a contoured and shapely figure for a long time, but will naturally change due to inevitable aging.

Both men and women are qualified to undergo a thigh lift Honolulu procedure as long as the loss of skin elasticity of the thigh hip or buttocks is present and needs immediate care. It is also recommended to people who have a saggy, flabby, or dimpled thigh area

Usually, the thigh lift Honolulu procedure takes about 3 hours. The thigh lift Honolulu surgery is conducted using general anesthesia on an outpatient basis and no prior hospitalization required. However, prior to thigh lift Honolulu surgery, the patient is evaluated on which of the three thigh lift Honolulu procedures suits best.

The first among the three is the inner or medial thigh lift Honolulu. It is conducted by using smaller incisions extending from the inner groin of the buttock crease region. The second technique is the Outer thigh lift Honolulu which is done using extensive incisions. It is a combination of thigh lift Honolulu and buttock lift which requires a longer incision that begins from the buttock crease, over the abdomen, and over the flank across the back. The last and third technique is the thigh liposuction which is an effective way to remove extra fatty tissues from the thighs. However, liposuction doesn’t have the same effect as thigh lift Honolulu because it doesn’t get rid of the excess and loose skin on the thighs. Patients may have the option of going home after the procedure or take the first night at the hospital’s overnight facility.

After the thigh lift Honolulu surgery, the thighs will be compressed to minimize the swelling. It would help the natural process of the skin back to its normal appearance. Bruising, swelling and pain cannot be avoided but it will subside in a month after thigh lift Honolulu surgery. Prolonged sitting is also discouraged for it may increase tension on the stitches. Recovery period from thigh lift Honolulu surgery varies depending on the patient. Two to three weeks is the usual recovery period where patients can actually proceed with their daily routine. Four to five post-operative office visits are required.

There are also isolated cases wherein complications occur after thigh lift Honolulu is performed. Some of the side effects include bruising, swelling, pain, and bleeding. However, it doesn’t affect much the outcome of the thigh lift Honolulu procedure.
